Contemporary Teapots & British Pottery

Teapots, such a familiar form in the history of decorative arts, are given a new turn by contemporary American potters. This collection of some forty teapots have been generously donated by Sanford M. and Diane Besser, New Mexico. Artists represented in this extraordinarily imaginative grouping includes Jeri Au, Virginia Cartwright and Eilene Sky. The Bessers have also contributed a distinguished collection of 50 ceramic works by contemporary British potters. Ian Godfrey, Gordon Baldwin and Henry Pim are among the artists represented.
