FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Fine Arts Club Annual Fundraiser to feature well-known author

(LITTLE ROCK, AR) - Alexandra Stoddard, philosopher of contemporary living and author of several books, will serve as guest lecturer for the Fine Arts Club fundraiser on November 11 at the Arkansas Arts Center, 9th and Commerce.

Stoddard will provide unique insights from her most recent book, Choosing Happiness: Keys to a Joyful Life. Her discussion will center around the small but significant things that can be done to change one's mind, heart and environment for the better. Her writing, seminars and illustrated talks contain a positive personal philosophy of ways to live a beautiful and happy life.

Her original theme of living beautifully and spiritually every day resulted in television appearances with Barbara Walters, Oprah, Katie Couric, Christopher Lowell, Home Matters and as host of the Home and Garden television series "Homes Across America." Stoddard continues to be profiled in major magazines and newspapers worldwide.

The fundraiser will begin with coffee in the lower lobby at 10 a.m., followed by the lecture and lunch in the atrium. The cost for lunch is $50. To make reservations for lunch call Laurie Ann Ross at 501-396-0351. Books can be purchased at the event and autographs will be given.
