Films to be featured at Arkansas Arts Center Young Patrons event

The program, led by Arkansas Arts Center curator of education Erin Branham, will look at the movies, the glamour, the scandals and the art of American cinema. The fast-paced, humorous dialogue will include clips, stills and stories from the back lots and soundstages. Hollywood legends, timeless performances, stellar screenwriters and dynamic directors will be discussed in search of the greatest feats and funniest foibles of Hollywood history –and what it has to do with art.

The Young Patrons event begins with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. The event is free to YP members. To make reservations of for information on joining the Arkansas Arts Center Young Patrons, call Molly Deere at 501-396-0337.
