American Craft Council to hold free public lecture at Arkansas Arts Center
(LITTLE ROCK, AR) -
Carmine Branagan, Executive Director of the American Craft Council, will host the lecture “American Craft Council: Serving Artists and Collectors” on Thursday, September 29 at the Arkansas Arts Center.
Branagan will speak about the American Craft Council, a national, nonprofit educational organization dedicated to promoting understanding and appreciation of contemporary American craft. In addition, she will discuss the role that the organization serves in the craft field. Collector Robert Duncan will join Branagan to discuss his involvement with the Council and his art collection.
A reception will be held prior to the lecture at 6:30 p.m. The lecture begins at 7 p.m. in the Arkansas Arts Center Lecture Hall. For more information, call 501-372-4000 or visit www.arkarts.com.
