Arkansas Arts Center Museum School Offers Adult Workshops for Fall

(LITTLE ROCK, AR) -

The Arkansas Arts Center Museum School offers adult workshops from October through December, providing artistic instruction on how to master skills from glass fusing to art photography.

Covering subjects from jewelry making to basic woodturning, the workshops range from one to five sessions and are offered throughout the week. Allowing adults to escape from their everyday tasks, the workshops offer a refreshing break from the monotony of everyday life.

The adult workshops include:

• Glass Fusing All Wired Up, two sessions on Oct. 1 and 8 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Jewelry Basics, five sessions on Oct. 18 and 25 and Nov. 1, 8 and 15 from 1 - 4 p.m.
• Art Photography and Digital Technology Discussion, one session on Oct. 27 from 7 - 8:30 p.m.
• Glass and PMC, two sessions on Nov. 5 and 12 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Polaroid Emulsion Lifts, three sessions on Dec. 3, 10 and 17 from 1 - 4 p.m.
• Basic Woodturning Workshop, two sessions on Dec. 2 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. and Dec. 3 from 1 - 4 p.m.
• Glass Fusing for Adults, two sessions on Dec. 10 and 17 from 1 - 4 p.m.
