Arkansas Arts Center Museum School's Fall Workshop Schedule

(LITTLE ROCK, AR) -

The Arkansas Arts Center Museum School offers children's workshops from October through December, introducing subjects from photography to special holiday themes.

Lasting from one to four sessions, the workshops teach children how to utilize their creativity to make works of pure artistic expression. Ranging from Circus Spectacular to Animal Sketching to Spooktacular Arts and Crafts, the Arkansas Arts Center provides a variety of workshops that not only are enjoyable for children but are fun for the whole family.

The fall children workshops include:

• Circus Spectacular, ages 9 - 14, two sessions on Oct. 1 and 8 from 2 - 4 p.m.
• Woodworking for Parent and Child, one session on Oct. 8 from 1 - 5 p.m.
• Figure Drawing, ages 16 - 18, two sessions on Oct. 15 and 22 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• Photography Basics for Parent and Child, four sessions on Oct. 22 and 29 and Nov. 5 and 12 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

The fall and winter holiday workshops include:

• Spooktacular Arts and Crafts, ages 6 - 12, two sessions on Oct. 22 and 29 from 1 - 4 p.m.
• Spooktacular Arts and Crafts for the Family, one session on Oct 27 from 4 - 5:30 p.m
• Pumpkin Painting and Decorating, ages 6 - 12, two sessions on Nov. 5 and 12 from 1 - 4 p.m.
• Toy Making, ages 4 - 7, two sessions on Dec. 10 and 17 from 10 a.m. - Noon
• Ornament Making, ages 6 - 9, two sessions on Dec. 10 and 17 from 1 - 3 p.m.
• Glass Fusing for the Holidays, ages 10 - 14, two sessions Dec. 10 and 17 from 10 a.m. - Noon.
