The Legend of Robin Hood Comes to Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre
(LITTLE ROCK, AR) -
As Robin Hood and his Merry Band steal from the rich and give to the poor, the prince of thieves comes to the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre stage in The Legend of Robin Hood, running from October 28 to November 13, 2005.
Living in an age of tyrannous reign, Robin Hood, along with his loyal companions, outsmarts the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham by breaking the law to benefit the whole of society. Seeking refuge in the haunted Sherwood Forest, Robin Hood and his band of outlaws evade capture by the Sheriff and his men, who have placed a bounty on Robin's head. Adventure, romance and a victory over evil unfold as The Legend of Robin Hood takes the stage.
Under the direction of Bradley Anderson, The Legend of Robin Hood is written and adapted by Keith Smith with music by Lori Isner, scene design by M.A. Hare, costume design by Pamela Adam, fight choreography by Brett Ihler and Ashley Wright, stage management by Liz Fleck and assistant stage management by Alex Speer.
