Part-Time Visitor Services Representative

The Arkansas Arts Center seeks energetic, outgoing candidates to fill two positions for the Visitor Services Department. Representatives will work in the box office and Visitor Services Center. Visitor Services Representatives serve as one of the primary communication channels between the institution, its members, and the general public. Responsibilities include: Performing all ticketing functions for the Children’s Theatre, educational programming, and special events. Promoting upcoming events and exhibitions. Communicating the benefits of AAC membership and encourage participation. Maintaining accurate visitor information and sales records utilizing computerized ticketing system. Ensuring that phone messages are returned promptly. Preparing accurate, required end-of-day paperwork. Applicants should be reliable, flexible and personable; possess strong communication and interpersonal skills; exhibit professional manner; be responsible and trustworthy; and be able to work as a team player. Weekend, holiday, and occasional evening shifts are required. Excellent computer skills and experience handling money are mandatory. Front-line hospitality experience preferred.
