Artmobile

The Artmobile, a mobile gallery, is a perfect source of arts exposure for schools or communities. It is one of very few mobile gallery programs in the country. The intent of this touring program is to bring an authentic gallery experience to communities throughout the region. An art educator travels with the facility to provide guidance and information concerning the exhibition, further enhancing the educational experience to those who tour the Artmobile.

2011-12 Artmobile Exhibition

The Artmobile exhibition is titled Faces & Places. Comprised of works from the Arkansas Arts Center Permanent Collection, this exhibition features portraits and landscapes that are abstract and evocative, real and imagined, familiar and strange. These works are placed in the context of social studies, language arts, and visual arts.
