Selections from the 37th Annual Exhibition

This selection of eighteen colorful works from the 37th annual juried exhibition depicts various approaches to the watercolor medium. It features traditional landscapes, detailed still-lifes, portraits and bold abstractions. This year's exhibition was held at the Cox Creative Center, Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Mid-Southern Watercolorists organization was founded in Little Rock in 1970 by five artists and has grown to include 250 members in seventeen states. The group was founded with the goal of elevating the stature of watercolor as an important creative, permanent painting medium.
